Hi all, I’m dedicating this space to self-care mind, and body. It’s so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day hassles that we forget to dedicate time to nurture ourselves. If you’re busy with your business, your 9 to 5, your children, or the other 10 things that demand your attention, I want you to pencil time in for yourself. That’s right, make it a priority, and schedule the time for some self-care. Self-care is personal to each individual, for some, it’s a Mani/Pedi, for others it’s reading a good book or watching a movie. Whatever floats your boat, we’re going to add it to the rotation of things on our to-do list and help keep each other accountable.
Self-care Sunday
Sunday, December 19, 2021
Hello to all my beautiful people. This week I’m focusing on self-care. I know the money might be acting funny, but self-care doesn’t mean spending a lot of money, or even any money at all. If you haven’t devoted some time to self-care and don’t know where to start, I’ve got you. Start by getting in touch with what makes you happy and what makes you feel better about yourself. Today, I got my nails redone and a pedicure (click on the link below to go to my Pinterest page to see a pic). In wintertime, I normally focus more on my fingernails, but my toes were starting to look like tools, no joke. At other times my self-care would be reading a book or cleaning out my office space. For you, it might be some alone time or something else, if it floats your boat and no harm is being done, enjoy your self-care. Don’t forget, there’s no side order of guilt with that alone time or mani/pedi. Take care everyone and keep on keeping on.
