Mindset Sunday

Hello beautiful women of purpose and vision.  The clocks have moved forward, and that means spring is around the corner. Although the blowing snow yesterday is trying to make a liar of me I choose to accentuate the positive. If this particular season is more challenging than anticipated, don’t give up, you may be closer to your breakthrough than you think.  This week’s blog is in line with last week’s blog about protecting your mindset.  Part of protecting your mindset is being flexible enough to recognize and accept constructive correction.  Don’t be too big for feedback.  Let me preface this by saying, be mindful of the source of the feedback, but do not discard constructive criticism because you might not like the source.  Once you’ve questioned the difference between the information or criticism and the messenger.  If it’s not meant for you, say “not today satan” then return to sender. I know we all have people in our lives or circle that rub us the wrong way, but it doesn’t mean their insight isn’t worthwhile.  Don’t isolate yourself to the point where you’re only hearing what you want folks to tell you.  Growth is unlikely if you have an emotional reaction to everything you don’t want to hear.  As always thanks for spending some time with me and keep on keeping.
