Mindset Sunday

I know who I am

Hello my loves! How are things in your neck of the woods? I have news to share, my last semester of school is officially over, and my last exam has been written.  Next up, is my licensing exam, but we’re not going to discuss that now.  I’m in Montreal catching up with family, particularly my elderly aunt.  This week I want to have a heart-to-heart with you about identity.  In the last few weeks I’ve gone through the ebb and flow that is life, and if I didn’t have a solid foundation of who I was my response would have been different.  It means I might have said and done some things that I would have regretted.  Knowing who I am and to whom I belonged allowed me the grace and favor to navigate the last few weeks with calm and humility.  God kept me, even when calm and humble were the furthest things from my mind.  This week’s Sunday Mindset is, to get to know who you are because it will help anchor you when the storms come.  It’s also the first step in understanding your purpose. If you are in the dark as to who you are then it makes things rather difficult to comprehend why you are here. The work isn’t always easy, but I’m cheering you on from the sidelines. As always, thanks for spending some time with me, and keep on keeping on.
