Hello my loves! We’re already in the middle of June, and I’m hoping that time slows just a bit. I’m longing for long warm summer days, and the last month of spring always holds all my pent-up anticipation like a child hopping in anticipation of ice cream. This week, I want to talk about balance. In my book, Prayer and Purpose- Level up with WU(wisdom and understanding), I talked about how imbalance my life had become, staying in a job that no longer served me. The imbalance it created changed me in ways I couldn’t fathom. When you’re in a constant state of imbalance control goes out the window, and the mind-twisting thing of it all is, that the imbalance becomes normal. Living an imbalanced life also decreases the space between you and procrastination. Living with imbalance is a constant juggling act of robbing Peter to pay Paul. One way to get off the hamster wheel of imbalance is having the courage and being ok with saying “no”. “No”, doesn’t make you less than or incapable, it simply means that you’re prioritizing your health, your family, and a way of life that will give you the longevity you need to live the life you were meant to. As always, thanks for spending some time with me, and keep on keeping on.
