Who’s occupying your space?

Hello my loves! Summer is speeding along and I’m slightly concerned. On this hump day, I hope you are well and thriving. I have a funny thing I tell my husband all the time and it goes like this, if my spirit doesn’t take you, it just doesn’t take you.  What’s the real-life implication? Well, if upon meeting someone I get that “feeling” of unease then I don’t push it.  There’s no rhyme or reason, it’s a discerning spirit I’ve had since my late teens.  I’m well intuned with my gut feelings, and I encourage you to do the same. What I’m saying is, that I’m very intentional about who I allow in my private space.  We’re all familiar with the old proverb about the clown in the palace.  Once the clown enters the palace, it doesn’t become king, the palace becomes a circus.  Sometimes the people we allow in our space can destroy everything we’ve built or are trying to build.  Guard your space wisely, action speaks louder than words. When folks show you who they are believe them.  One telltale sign that you will need to inventory your people list is this, if folks cannot be happy for you then you need to start questioning who has your back.  Once you’ve figured it out don’t be afraid to let some people loose.  Not everyone with you currently is meant to make it to the end of the journey with you.   As always thanks for spending some time with me, and keep on keeping on.
