Hello loves, I hope you’re all well. Last week was dedicated to the importance of having a plan. This week I want to talk about, what worked for her won’t necessarily work for you. Social media is an amazing tool when understood and used appropriately (I’m still trying to get a handle on some of these algorithms). Otherwise, it’s like a buffet packed with all the tasty, mouth-watering yummies that are no good for you. If you have defined goals and social media is part of your plan, please be intentional about what and how you use it. Social media is great when it comes to showing the glam and glitz, rarely do you see the struggle. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with folks showing their successes, just don’t buy into a narrative that because it worked one way for that person, it’ll work for you. Always keep in mind what your goals and plans are. Don’t be swayed by every call to action and a well-laid-out color palette. You might waste a lot of time and money pursuing fluff. Finally, don’t forget the most important part of any plan, you. You are unique and wonderfully made, if you’re following someone else’s path, don’t discount the “you” in all of it. As always, thanks for spending some time with me, and keep on keeping on.
