Can you see it?
Hello my loves, I want to give us a mini-break. I feel like the last two topics were a bit heavy so this week I want us to have a vision check. I wear prescription lenses and one eye is significantly weaker than the other. In fact, if it weren’t for the advancement of science and technology one of my lenses would look like a mini coke bottle. Needless to say, I don’t leave home without my glasses. Wearing my glasses provides clarity of vision and prevents headaches. This is exactly what being able to clearly see your vision does for you. The vision you have for your life lays out the groundwork for your future, so take the time and put in the time to achieve clarity. Keep in mind that having a clear vision does not mean everything in your life will go as planned. For some reason, after the vision for my life became clear I expected confetti and fewer problems. Honestly, you might find the vision process or the process to purpose is when you’ll face trials and tribulations from different fronts (difficulties you’ve never come up against), but I want to encourage you to hold on to your faith. The God who gave you the vision won’t bring you thus far and leave you. The last thing I want to leave you with is this, as your vision informs your plan (we talked about the importance of a plan in the January 12th post), it’ll help you anchor yourself when the inevitable storms of doubt, haters, and even self-sabotage come your way. Make sure your vision is clear, so I’ll repeat, can you see it? If the answer is no, no worries, go back to the drawing board, and ask yourself what it is exactly that you want out of life. The answer is within you, it has always been within you. As always, thanks for spending some time with me, and keep on keeping on.
