Know your worth
Good morning beautiful women of purpose and vision. February is here! I’m excited because it means we’re getting closer to spring. Happy Black History Month! As descendants in the diasporas, we were amputated from our history and our worth devalued. As we remember and celebrate, let us be mindful to never undervalue or overlook our contributions or our worth. This week I want to give voice to the idea of knowing your worth. Do not allow yourself to be defined by any one event or mistake. While it’s unfortunate most folks you meet will never see your worth, it doesn’t mean you have to hide your light under a bushel. Despite what the world might say, or the box people might try to put you in, don’t ever allow anyone to define who you are and tell you what you’re worth. Walk by faith and move in purpose knowing your destiny is ahead of you not behind you. I pray you are all well and don’t forget to trust the process.
