Moving in Silence

Hello beautiful people!  February is here and that normally means colder weather is ahead of us, but I’m going to go against my natural inclinations and remain optimistic that this February, the weather will be warmer than normal.  It is also Black History Month and I hope that while we remember the atrocities of the past and current injustices, we also remember that history is written by the conquerors, so it is up to us to celebrate learn and celebrate our history.  I just wanted to come at you quickly and talk about moving in silence.  Some folks are like a leaky cup, can’t hold water.  Listen, there’s no shame here, I’ve been guilty of it.  Feeling the need to tell Jessica, David, and Mary my business because I felt a need for validation.  What I’ve learned over the years is that not everyone that smiles with you is for you.  Instead of seeking validation externally, recognize that you are enough, you are worthy, and move in silence.  Don’t give sheep in wolves clothing the opportunity to work against you even before you.  Move-in silence, and let your actions speak for themselves.  As always, thanks for spending some time with me, and keep on keeping on.
