Mindset Sunday

Hello beautiful people.  Ooh, we’re at the end of another month. For some, it’s a season filled with trials and tribulations, but despite the current challenges I hope you are all finding ways to cope.  The mindset goal for this week is, to set healthy boundaries.  Different personality types will handle conflict and confrontation differently.  Some of you might have difficulty speaking up for yourselves, sometimes to your own detriment; while others will charge forward to protect their peace.  Boundary setting is subjective, it’s saying no to being taken advantage of or by not engaging in counterproductive arguments, for some folks, it’s both.  Part of setting healthy boundaries is to know your limits and be assertive in identifying your needs so those can be communicated clearly.  Again, you must know yourself well enough to be able to determine and communicate what you need.  This work is not easy, and it may take many attempts before you occupy a space of authenticity.  Part of setting healthy boundaries is about knowing who you are and standing firm in that knowledge.  As always thanks for spending some time with me and keep on keeping on.
