Mindset Sunday

To everything, there’s a season

Hello my loves! Are any of you avid gardeners? My thumb is forever orange, but I can appreciate the physical and mental benefits of being in the garden.  Like any gardener or farmer knows, there’s a season for everything.  In my neck of the woods, seed planting season normally starts in late March, then the seeds must be tended before we can reap. I’ve had to learn some in-season lessons the hard way.  I would plant and expect to reap shortly after, it was a full-on microwave mentality.  When the results I wanted didn’t materialize in the time frame I wanted, I would quickly move on to the “next”.   I was forever wanting to try new things, whatever seemed right, I would be down to giving it a try.   I kept busy with many things that left me in a state of frustration and inefficiency.  Without a vision, there’s no stability.  Don’t waste time chasing the many.  Once you understand your vision it’ll allow you to work more patiently through your process.  A key point to remember, don’t manipulate yourself with time.  Your goals must include a time reference, but the time it takes should not be unreasonable as to discourage nor delay the vision.  As always, thanks for spending some time with me, and keep on keeping on.
