Don’t sweat the small stuff

Hello, beautiful people.  We’ve made it to the end of the month- almost, it’s absolutely ok if you feel like doing a little jiggy around your room.  If you are barely keeping up, don’t worry I’ve got you.  The start of any new year is packed with so many to-dos and I want.  Whether it’s losing weight, going back to school, advancing in your career, or just keeping yourself, not to mention a family on track.  It’s heavy and I get it.  At one point, my husband and I had 4 kids five and under.  I joke all the time that there are days or timeframes that I don’t remember.  When I look back over some of the more stressful periods of my life, I wished I didn’t sweat the small stuff because it all adds up.  Regardless of the condition of your house, whether you’ve already fallen off your gym plan (that is if your gym is open at all) or your kids have already eaten out all the school snacks and it’s only Wednesday, take the time to lay it all down.  Take a few minutes to take stock of where you are, then be still in gratitude.   A few blogs ago, I talked about not making permanent decisions for temporary problems. To that, I would like to add, give yourself a break, show yourself some grace.  I know easier said than done, but you have everything to gain and nothing to lose.  Spend a bit more time, quality time, reconnecting to the people in your life who build you up, then release the things and people and places that no longer serve you.  As always, thanks for spending some time with me, and keep on keeping on.
